The day of love does not only exist in the real world, players can also discover all the chocolates, gifts and heart-shaped items they love in the game on February 14 for a animal crossing Valentine’s day. On Valentine’s Day, players will receive letters from their villagers, along with thoughtful gifts. Players will also be able to send their own letters and gifts to their favorite villagers, or perhaps all of them if they’re feeling particularly generous. Some seasonal items that can be purchased for Valentine’s Day include a chocolate heart that costs 1200 Bells and a heart-shaped bouquet that costs 1200 Bells. Both of these seasonal items are available for purchase at the Nook Stop in Residential Services from February 1 through February 14.

9 Halloween: Who doesn’t love spooky season?

Who doesn’t like candy and scaring their friends? The Halloween holiday will be on October 31, and the event will start after 5 p.m. Halloween in the game allows players to dress up in spooky costumes, paint their faces, and scare their villagers into giving them candies. With the candies they collect, villagers will be able to track down Jack, who will give them a free Reaction and a summary of the event.

Once the player has scared a few of their villagers into giving them candy, they can give the candy to Jack, who in return will give them spooky clothes, furniture pumpkin starters, and DIY recipes . If given Lollipops, Jack will give more valuable gifts, such as a Spooky Wand DIY Recipe or a Spooky Carriage DIY Recipe.


8 Toy Day: Did someone say presents?

It’s the season… to give toys to the villagers! Toy Day is Christmas Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and takes place on December 24. On Toy Day, players can find Jingle, who helps Santa deliver gifts to villagers. If the player agrees to help Jingle, they will reward them with a festive wrapping paper DIY recipe, of which they will need at least three to start delivering gifts to their villagers. For this they will need one ornament of each color, one blue, one red and one gold. These can be found on the island by shaking trees until one falls. Along with three festive wrapping papers, Jingle will be handing out a Toy Day stocking and a magic bag to hold goodies. Players can also exchange gifts with their villagers on Toy Day, and they can start buying toys from Nooks Cranny starting December 1.


7 Festival: Dance, dance, dance!

The Festivale is a Mardi Gras event that will take place on February 28 in-game and will allow villagers to enjoy a day of wearing Festivale-inspired outfits and dancing in the square. Pavé will ask the player to change into Festivale clothing before asking them to collect multicolored feathers floating around the island. With three feathers of the same color, Pavé will reward the player with a Festival-themed piece of furniture. Players can also trade feathers with their villagers. Villagers will want the color they wear and will trade their feathers with the player to get them.


6 Bunny Day: looking for those eggs!

Bunny Day is the Easter themed party animal crossing which takes place on April 17 and includes a day filled with egg hunts, Zipper the Bunny DIY recipes, and Bunny Day! There are six types of Bunny Day Eggs players can collect, and to find them all they will need a shovel, axe, fishing rod, and slingshot. Players can also trade Eggs they find with Zipper outside of Residential Services to receive Eggs of different colors, as well as Bunny Day Baskets.


5 International Museum Day: Join the Blathers Stamp Rally!

International Museum Day runs in-game from May 18 through May 31 and allows players to participate in a Museum Stamp Rally hosted by Blathers.

The Stamp Rally requires players to explore different parts of the museum to find and collect stamps that they can optionally give to Blathers to receive a reward for completing the rally. There are four rewards to collect, an insect plaque, a fossil plaque, an art plaque, and a fish plaque.


4 Turkey Day: Celebrate Thanksgiving with Franklin!

Turkey Day is an in-game Thanksgiving holiday held on November 25, and the holiday allows players to collect ingredients, cook, and celebrate Thanksgiving with their villagers. On Turkey Day, Franklin will start preparing in the town square, and players will need to find rare and specific ingredients for him. Once players collect the necessary ingredients, Franklin will reward them with DIY Turkey Day recipes. Franklin can also request a secret ingredient to finish the dish. The four Turkey Day recipes that players will need to prepare are: Clam Chowder, Pumpkin Pie, Gratin, and Fish Meunière.




3 May Day: Can you escape the maze?

The May Day Holiday event runs in-game from April 29 to May 1 and involves the player going to the airport and choosing the “Go On May Day Tour” option. The player will then be airlifted to a secret island accessible only during this holiday. From there, the player will need to complete a maze to be rewarded with treasure and the chance to talk to Rover. Once players talk to Rover, he will reward them with a special prize for May Day.


2 New Year’s Eve: Hurry, it’s almost time for the countdown!
