Stanley Richardson obituary (2021) – Candia, NH

Candia, NH – Mr. Stanley K. Richardson, Jr., 87, of Candia, died at Catholic Medical Center on October 2, 2021 after a period of ill health.

Born in Concord, he was the son of the late Stanley K. Richardson Sr. and Anne (Evans) Richardson. He was raised and educated in Pembroke before later moving to Candia. He enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Korean conflict, honorably receiving the rank of SP-3.

Prior to his retirement, Stan was employed by the NH State Police for over 30 years, reaching the rank of corporal. He then worked as a dispatcher for Merchant’s Motors. He was deputy chief of the Pembroke Police Department and also worked as a foreman for Pembroke Boats.

Stan was a life member of the National Rifle Association. He was also a member of the NH Towing Association, a 69-year member of the Pembroke Grange, the Kenny Wallace Fan Club, the State of NH Benevolent Association and the State of NH SEA Retired Chapter 1. He was also a member of the Chapter. Hannah Dustin of NAFCA.

He loved camping, collecting stamps and coins, collecting autographs, fishing and NASCAR racing. He was a huge fan of the Monarchs and the Fisher Cats.

Stan is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 64 years, Laurice (Day) Richardson; her children, Kimberly Dionne of Bow, Susan Archambeault of Elkton, Maryland, Lisa Migneault of Candia and Stanley K. Richardson, III of Candia. He was the brother of Sylvia Dockx from Venice, FL. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew, and several cousins ​​in the United States and England.

A funeral service with military honors will be held on Friday, October 15 at 1 p.m. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
