Although he once said he would never return to Poughkeepsie again, former WWE Superstar and current AEW wrestling Chris Jericho returns to Poughkeepsie this Sunday, April 17 (Easter Sunday) when his band Fozzy does a return to The Chance.
A bit about Fozzy
Heavy metal band Fozzy was formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1999 by vocalist Chris Jericho and guitarist Rich Ward. The group has released seven studio albums over the years. Jericho once described the band as Wrestling voice radio, like “If Metallica and Journey had a bastard child, it would be Fozzy.” Being a huge fan of 80s metal, I can appreciate the band Fozzy and their sound. Their early albums featured covers of many favorites like Dio, Krokus, Twisted Sister, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Scorpions, WASP and Accept. The band’s latest album Judas was released on Century Media Records in 2017.
