The daily show Host Trevor Noah has hit a nerve among a certain segment of his fans, expressing his skepticism in an online article about Moderna CEO’s motivations to push for new vaccinations.
On Twitter earlier today, Noah raised an eyebrow and appeared to claim that Moderna CEO Stéphane Bancel was pushing for new Covid vaccines for monetary reasons. Noah based this on reports so far that the symptoms of the omicron variant are mild.
Noah called Bancel, âThe guy who’s going to make millions from the new vaccines,â and took a saliva, noting that a new Ferrari is waiting for him.
âNow listen, I’m not saying the CEO of Moderna is lying. I’m not saying that at all, âNoah said. âI’m just saying I don’t think he’s the most objective source on this topic. I’ll wait to hear what neutral experts say about a new vaccine. “
Bancel said on Tuesday that the high number of omicron mutations on the spike protein and its rapid spread indicate the need to modify current vaccines, according to the Financial Time.
