Dublin Headquarters, Version 1, which is based in Belfast and employs 130 people, has joined an exclusively controlled list of just 105 Microsoft partners around the world to be named Azure Expert Managed Service Provider (MSP).

The honor recognizes the IT service provider as one of Microsoft’s most capable global partners and is designed to enable potential customers in the public and private sectors to identify the best managed service providers to work with.

Cloud-managed technology and services are a growing market globally and a support widely used by public sector organizations and business enterprises across Ireland to outsource the responsibility to maintain, improve and protect IT assets in order to streamline operations and reduce expenses.

To achieve Azure MSP status, version 1 had to perform a rigorous independent third-party audit, and also provide multiple customer references from Azure Managed Services projects delivered in the past 12 months. In addition to the Azure Expert status of version 1, version 1 is an “AMMP (Azure Migration & Modernization Program) Approved” partner holding Azure Advanced Specialization accreditations in Windows and SQL Server migrations and application modernization. AMMP approval allows Version 1 to guide its customers through a Microsoft supported and funded migration / modernization journey to the cloud – and to take advantage of Microsoft’s Azure FastTrack services.

Named Microsoft’s Partner of Choice for Data Modernization in Ireland in 2019 and 2020, Smart Cloud Partner Award 2019 and Business Intelligence and Data Analytics Partner of the Year 2016 , version 1 has end-to-end Microsoft capabilities with demonstrated expertise in a variety of skills.
