Elk Grove Multicultural Festival
The Town of Elk Grove will showcase the diversity of cultures in its community through entertainment, dance, music, food, art and more. August is Diversity Month, and there will be two performance stages, an art exhibition, an international food court, a fashion show, over 60 vendors, crafts and exhibits and much more. !

Backyard Boogie Fundraiser for the Washington Center
A family afternoon of community, lowriders, food, music and culture, this fundraiser aims to raise money to create the Washington Neighborhood Center Urban Art & Garden Landscape Project. It’s also in hopes of getting young artists to build and create a beautiful space for the community to enjoy and thrive.

Summer Children’s Festival

Cruisin’ Into the Next Chapter Classic Car & Truck Show
There will be a range of classic cars, vintage trucks and fire engines as well as vintage tractors and petrol engines. Shop, participate in raffles to win prizes, listen to great music, grab free books and activities for kids, and eat delicious food!

Seattle Children’s Film Festival: Festival Best!
The 17th Annual Seattle Children’s Film Festival is coming to Sacramento for this special event. With 10 different short animations, come and see qualified talents in your own city!
With a new score of Grammy-winning jazz, gospel, ragtime and blues, “The Color Purple” is an unforgettable and intensely moving musical based on Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and Academy Award-nominated film. Oscars. A story about a young woman’s epic journey through joy, despair, anguish and hope to discover the power of love and how it leaves its mark on the soul.

The Great American Stamp Show
The nation’s largest national postage stamp exhibit is coming to Sacramento! Whether you are a collector or simply enjoy looking at stamps, there will be over 100 dealers offering to buy and sell stamps, over 50 specialist stamp companies and collectors, 10,000 pages of stamp exhibits, philately seminars and a youth area filled with fun activities!
